Subj: lining tone holes?
Date: Wed, 28 Jan 1998 14:26:35 -0500

Am I crazy or do I recall hearing about adjusting the pitch of selective
notes by lining the insides of tone holes? ie. painting them w/
clear nailpolish (I'm not tough enough to use bright pink )
Does this lower the pitch of the note whose tone hole is open?
How effective is this? How significant is the effect? Lowering a pad
somtimes causes the note to speak less well. Is this an alternative?

TIA
