Hi Chris!
I also have a Concerto clarinet that I just bought. I kept my R-13 as a
back-up just in case. I changed my Buffet barrel to a Pyne 1++ and it really
helped the throat tones resonate and fixed a few intonation problems. I have
tried many different Pyne barrels for my Concerto and the 1+ seems to be better
for it than the stock barrel it came with. I didn't think a barrel would change
much on my instrument but I definitely heard the difference. Hope this helps.
