Ian
Branchers are really really good ligatures, but Ive only seen a couple
other people with them.
Zondas produce a better sound than just about any other reed Ive played
on, but my complaint is that they last for such a short time. The V-12's
are my favorite reeds right now, and I like them better than regular
Vandorens. They are also softer than regular Vandorens and if you
switch, you need a stronger size than you would in the regular ones.
If ya want a new mouthpiece, I recommend the Vandoren M-135RVLyre. It
plays darker and more clearly than the other Vandoren mouthpieces Ive
played on. I also recommend buying your mouthpiece through the woodwind
catolog, because if you don't like it, you can send it right back...I
dont know all the rules about it, though.
Hope I helped you!!!
Wendy
