same as in the orchestral arrangement? How long is it? Is there a
recording somewhere?

It's been a while since I played it, but I'll tell you what I remember. The
music is very accessible and not too hard to work up. It is in a minor key
and reminds me a little of the "Fossile" movement in _Carnival of Animals_ - a
little spooky in a friendly kind of way. I always thought it would work well
on a Holloween concert, but I'm sure that is just my personal impression. I
seem to remember one tough lick near the end during an accelerando. It is
written for A clarinet. I know it is written for orchestra since the clarinet
part has orchestra tutti cues, but I know nothing about a band transcription.
