A lot of great bass clarinet music is written in bass clef. It's worth taking
a couple of hours to get it under your fingers. Perhaps begin by reading Bach
Cello Suite #1. Then, you can play the bass clarinet part Ravel's La Valse.
It's for bass clarinet in "A" in bass clef, but there are pleanty of treble
cleff, Bb transcriptions floating around.
