The C* is now the Selmer "blank" of choice...although you might contact
Rick Sayre to find out if he can reface the HS* as easily. It seems to me
that the C* is more open, thus easier to reface. The reason I say "blank"
is because there are no good stock mouthpieces made for bass
clarinet...everyone in the big orchestras have them refaced to their
individual playing.

The C* sells for $90-100 at the discount houses......a used (thrice used?)
HS* should sell for $40-80 I would think. Just my opinion tho....no
proof!
