I hate to break it to you, Shouryu, but these prices are
completely unextraordinary. In fact, they're slightly
higher than what you'll find in the mail order catalogues
of Muncy, Weiner, and Woodwind/Brasswind. Whoever you
were buying reeds from prior to discovering the web site
was probably marking up their sale prices substantially.
Muncy sells Vandoren Hand Select reeds for $25 a box.
I've been too lazy to investigate lower reed prices,
although I'm certain I could find a bargain if I started
looking faithfully. I make my reeds last a long time, so
the impetus is not there. At any rate, get the mail order
catalogues. The web site you've discovered is not doing
you any favors.
