I see that this is an alternate interpretation which hadn't come
to my mind. When you say "principle" [sic] note, I assume you
mean the resolution note, as opposed to the preceding grace note.
If your interpretation is correct, then I wonder why each passage
is bound by a tie, rather than each combined grace & resolution note
being shown separately. With the presence of the tie -- and with your
interpretation in mind -- I assume, then, that the editor is stating
the articulation from grace-to-principal note is to be legato (and
given how fast it goes, this makes sense). Is the above what you
have in mind?
