Yes, I teach the Romance from this concerto as being a good example of
the two types of grace notes; "accaciatura" (with the slash) and before
the beat; and "appogiatura" (no slash) being on the beat, thus 2 8th
notes in this piece. Appogiaturas are usually dissonant to the bass note
/chord in that spot, and so are played stronger than the resolution tone
(the main note, or 2nd 8th note in this case). Enjoy the piece, it's a
classic!
