Av Galper called me from Toronto last night and we had a nice chat.
He always calls when the weather there is awful, and I tell him how
great California weather is, and then I taunt him for a while.

Anyway, part of the conversation was his remark about studying
with Bellison and, in turn, Bellison's view on the vibrato for
clarinet. I will not post that opinion. That is for Av to do,
but I ask him to get off his toochis and make the posting.

I'll be an old man before he does it.

Be careful, Av. Taunting will follow soon!

(Do you remember the movie, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
with the Frenchmen on top of the castle screaming down, "If you
do not go away, we shall taunt you!!"? Of course they said a
lot of other things too most of which are unmentionable, and then
they threw and entire cow off the top of the castle at King
Arthur who stood below all covered in doo doo. Great movie.
Great scene.)
