Ever since I began using Zondas I've been hooked. Although they aren't
perfect, they do have vitality and feel pretty well balanced. I use all
strengths from 2.5 to 4.5 but seem to prefer 2.5 and 3.0. They are a bit
soft but if the tone is well placed it doesn't sound all that edgy.

I haven't tried to season them. do you mean that you played on a box, then
put them away for a year and played on the same reeds?
