Michael,

You might listen again - some of the trills are from below, and some are
from above. I don't believe Shifrin made these decisions casually.

However, rather than jump in and tell you my impression, I will wait for
Dan Leeson's response....which will, in all liklihood, not only be more
scholarly in nature, but more entertaining!
