I am on the Klarinet list, but whenever I post messages, I can never see
them and they don't get returned undeliverable. I send them to
klarinet@-----. I was
wondering if you would be willing to relay a message to the list for me. If
you are willing please copy the following:

I am a 15 year old sophomore that recently moved into the highest band at my
high school. I tried out for the Indiana All State band on Sunday. And
guess what happened? My reed broke Saturday night. I know I should have
several good reeds that I rotate, but that is not really my problem. I went
to my box of reeds (La Voz medium hard) and I got one out and it seemed to
play good. Then on Sunday, it sounded horrible. I was probably just
nervous. Then I tried another reed from that same box and it feels like a
medium or below. I am just now learning that not all reeds are equal. I
called my local music store (Paige's Music) and they suggested three brands
for me to try. (Sorry about the length of this posting) They were Zanda,
Mitchell Lurie Premium, and Oliverie. I decided to ask this list what they
think I should try, even though I will have my own personal tastes. I have
an account with the school so cost doesn't matter much. I would appreciate
any help that you can give me. Thanks
