Several things you could try - play lots of scales - slowly
Make sure you warm up properly.
Have your instrument checked for leaking pads - this is a big one especially if
your clarinet has sat around for a while.
Get a few lessons from a good teacher - I am taking lessons for the first time
in my life and what a difference it makes.( age 45+)
Be patient with yourself - it takes a while to the level up and then you seem
to advance like crazy- similar to the training effect that athletes encounter.
