Interval exercises like this are good to get your "face" set, get your
circulation and breathing going, and get your head focused. I do a
similar one myself; it takes about 10 minutes. BUT after that, I move on
to scales, arepggios & tonguing exercises for another 20 - 30 minutes!

With that many "freaky" qualifiers, it's hardly surprising! And, you
know, everyone thinks clarinet players are geeks, at least non-clarinet
players think so, so you're not making things any easier for yourself.
