The stamp should read: " ... a Ivry la Bataille" (with a grave accent over
the "a"). I know someone with a Boehm instrument made by these people - I
don't know how old, but it's certainly from well into the 20th century.
It's an A with rather bad intonation (apparently) - the throat notes, in
particular, are all over the place.
Does someone have a New Langwill????
