Shifrins recording of the mozart is beautiful... i highly recommend it. He
has many other recordings as well, but mostly chamber music (he is now
artistic driector for the chamber music society of lincoln center, where i
begin interning tomrrow :)
I recently purchased his recording of the brahms sonatas and schumann fantasy
pieces at tower records, on the delos label. I also saw his cd of Weber's
clarinet music at tower, but didnt buy it. He does a very nice job with the
brahms and schumann, although in my opinion it doesnt compare to the recording
of the mozart, one of my all time faves :)
