Robin,
I used to be a vocalist and did more weddings than I cared to. I have quite
a bunch of music left from this. One of them is a book called the Wedding
Songbook Series, volume one. I have no idea if other volumes were
published. This book does have a lot of appropriate music for weddings,
albeit for voice and piano. I would think you could transpose the vocal
part and have it work.
Wedding song is a division of Calvary Records, 142 Eighth Street North,
Nashville, TN 37203
My approach when working with a bride and groom was to find out what was
meaningful to them. It is their wedding, and you should not have to limit
it to "wedding type" music. If they have a special song or two, perhaps
that would be the better approach.
Bob
