Interesting. My optometrist told me NEVER to use tissues or paper towels on
my glasses as these items are actually made of wood fibers and despite their
apparent softeness (in the case of tissues) are more abrasive than cloth.
One would think it would be the same for mouthpieces. However I do use
tissue on my glasses and a swab on my mouthpiece.
