If individuals want to discuss ALL aspects of music and orchestral playing, then
they might consider signing up for Orchestralist. Had this discussion been related
to clarinet auditions and the hiring/employment of clarinet players, I would have
taken a different view. Instead, the debate over the hiring practices of the Vienna
Philharmonic has gone into left field, and very much away from the purpose of this
list.
