A good point and one that a person should recognize. For the average
public school clarinetist (and I had a lot of those when I taught public
school!), just getting students to use good basic hygene (sp?!) on the
clarinet is important. When they are ready for a fine mouthpiece however,
it is time to work with them more closely about the do's and don't's.
