Even I, a swab damage unbeliever, think you are playing with fire in this
case. Unless you chew gum or eat while playing, your mouthpiece should not
get dirty enough to justify daily scrubbing. Even though I doubt that the
bristles are going to cause great damage, either, the handle of the brush,
especially the twisted wire kind you usually see, could sctatch the
interior of the mouthpiece or, God forbid, the tip or side rails. THAT
would make a difference.
