Good morning and Happy New Year everyone!! My question this morning is
this: in the November/December edition of the Clarinet Gregory Barrett
reviews a CD that includes some of Hindemith's clarinet repertoire. He
also mentions that the third movement of Hindemith's Clarinet Qunitet is
written for Eb Clarinet. I checked the sneezy database and it gave the
following listing:

Composer : Hindemith,Paul (1895-1963)
Title : Quintet, Op. 30
Type : Quintet
Composer's Sex : Male
Date :
Instrumentation : clarinet, violin, violin, viola, cello
Arranger :
Publisher : Schott , Associated Music Publishers
Grade :
Comments : Clarinet and String Quartet

I assume this is the same work, as this was the only Hindemith Quintet I
know of. Does anyone know if the edition by this publisher leaves the
third movement written for Eb Clarinet do the transpose it for Bb?
Also, are there any other editions that have the part written for Eb?

Thanks very much!
