I have a new student (playing at an intermediate to advanced level) who is
interested in learning all there is to know about reeds. Is there a book
that I could recommend to him that would describe how to care for and shape
reeds? He is also looking for a sort of "how to" book on caring for the
clarinet...you know...cleaning, oiling, pads, etc. I don't spend enough
time with him to teach him enough and still work on his playing!
