I would like to offer 2 points of clarification re: a prior post
about my mouthpieces:

1) Time certainly does fly but it has been approximately 3 years
since the introduction of my line of mouthpieces. Actually, I've found th=
e
time to do the finishing of each mouthpiece myself for the last 2.5 years=
-
not for the last 1 year as previously posted.

2) Yes, I have always distributed my mouthpiece from my own =

residence. But during the 6 month starting phase of the business,
mouthpieces were faced for me, in person, (hence the R.H. engraving), in =
an
attempt to have them fit my desired playing characteristics. =

In fact, further refinements of these initial mouthpieces we=
re
done myself - a few of which were actually distributed.

My original intent was to create a mouthpiece close to my belov=
ed
Kaspar. This turned out only to be possible upon my further refinement an=
d
redesigning of the many components of a mouthpiece - not only the facin=
g.
Many changes have been made since early on. Of course, in my constant,
daily reference to my fine Kaspars, Chedevilles, and A. Lelandais
mouthpieces, most especially to their tonal, response and intonation
characteristics and as to how they play in the Chicago Symphony as well a=
s
other venues, my hope is to continue to learn and improve on each new
mouthpiece that I make....
