I think that the thread that developed from your initial post is quite
valuable! I certainly wouldn't take it personally that so many people are
reacting to it!

A clarification here.....there are not 24 hours in a day to actively work
unless one does not sleep. Beyond that, many people are no longer full
time students and must work 8-12 of those 24 hours, sleep 6 perhaps,
leaving 6 to eat, practice, help our children with homework, fix the drain
(geez...I hated doing that today of all days!), etc. I am not making
excuses for everyone......and there are WONDERFUL advantages to making
reeds. Keep doing it for as long as you are able......
