I have played on the regular Rovner, Rovner lite, Rovner Mk III and the
Eddie Daniels version. As ligatures go, they are among the best made,
and are virtually indestructable. HOWEVER...I find very little
difference between the various models, except how each model may fit a
particular mouthpiece. In short, the Eddie Daniels is a great ligature,
but so are the other models. The question is one of cost: the Eddie
Daniels models lists at about $34.95, and the other models list at about
$19.95.
