Re: oiling the bore
Last summer I visited the Buffet factory in France and they told me that it
is not necessary to ever oil the bore of their clarinets. By the way, they
use vegetable oil(just like you get at the supermarket) to oil the bores in
their factory.
I live in Wisconsin with lots of exteme weather changes and I do
occasionally oil the bore--maybe once or twice a year when I think of it
