There are problems with leaving your clarinet assmbled. especially in the
winter. My clarinet got so messed up by just having it together for 30 minutes
of pracitce where it took about 10 minutes to take it apart. I left together
for 2 hours a few weeks ago, and well, I just got it back from the shop
because nobody could take the barrel off!! I always take my clarinet apart now
when I'm done.

BTW- They fixed my clarinet so it wouldn't stick so bad by sanding away just a
little of the wood on the inside of the joint. If sticking becomes a constant
problem, then ask your repairman.
