I thought I was the only one! I still use this, and it works fine; I see no
reason to spend upwards of 10x to 20x more for what I can get from a bicycle
repair shop. When I clean my mouthpice, I just cut a new patch. BTW, I find
that the adhesive backing already on the rubber patches is sufficient.

I would rather spend my money on *good* reeds.
