Now where in my message (which you graciously reprinted) does it say I
want the flow to change? I was merely pointing out (probably what
everyone already knew anyway) that the current posting really had nothing
at all to do with the original......the most obvious reason being that
someone (I don't remember who) became upset that the suggestion was being
made that all music be played exactly as the composer wanted......which is
to say significantly different than the suggestion that we play on the
correct horn because the correct notes would then be possible to reach.
It was my impression that the person who was upset had either not seen the
initial posting regarding Morales and the Basset Clarinet (in Bb) or that
the person had misconstrued the thread. My posting was simply a reminder
about the inital post and why we were discussing composer intentions.

That's all I was attempting, probably in my very primitive, abrupt,
and non-stylish to say. But.....I absolutely do agree with your
suggestion that interfering with the flow is not a good idea.....I
apologize if it appeared that I was trying to interfere with the flow!
