There are so many to choose from!
My son began piano last year and this last year we bought him one of those
Yamaha dome-shaped metronomes. We chose it because it has two pitches for
the click and you can adjust the volume to a fairly loud volume (a problem
with most of the credit card sized metronomes). It was only $35. It is
not as portable as we would like, but it looks cool on the piano!
