I never argued that playing without the "correct" instrument was a good thing.
I simply didn't understand the need to hypothesize the reasons Ricardo might
have done so. To suggest that he either didn't care or didn't know better was
pointless and insulting, and for me it detracting from the importance of the
facts that Dan had stated earlier in his post.
