I do too Roger (that's weird writing my own name).....Ian Krouse's
Concerto for Bass Clarinet and Orchestra makes extensive use of the
extreme registers of the bass clarinet.....but I don't think
the CA Clarinet sounds good at all in the altissimo....even with a vented
first finger left hand key.
