A bassett clarinet is pitched in A or Bb, and extends to the C
below low E (like a low C bass clarinet). A bassett horn if a clarinet
in F that has the same keywork extension. The bassett clarinet looks
like a regular soprano with an extra-long lower joint that has a
provision for a peg.
