Dear Dirk, maybe I can help you.
First I would like to tell you that there are diferences betwen
materials to plated keys.
I say that because I have many of my students that have Buffets with
silver plating(RC models); and that silver is diferent of the silver of my
Prestige.
I am shure that the nickel on B-12 is diferent from R-13 or RC.
I already sweaty on hands, and, that was the main reason to buy a
instrument with silver plating: the figers slide less than nickel.
About keys getting black? A good silver polish can fix it.
