I throw it out because all view points should be presented.
Popular or not. I did fail the make the point that Mr. Garret
brought up that silver keys (finishwise) last longer usually. I
did know that but it had left my mind. I also didn't point out
that silver plate also adds some weight to the instrament. All
of this does make me wonder why ligatures of different materials
make a difference in sound. I first noticed this when I tried a
variety of Robert Scott ligatures of the same design but different
materials. I ended up getting the BG lig that Ricardo Morales
endorses because I liked the tone it gave me on my Genusa mouthpiece.
It does have gold plated contacts.

Then why throw out the comment? Why not save it for a later war?
Those that lob hand grenades shouldn't be surprised at some
"incoming" after hearing the boom.
