I can't advise on any instruments that are available now, but what a
pity to replace your Emperors. You may yet find good Imperials -
refurbished and playing well. There will never be a substitute for
them, but no doubt many people will give you a list on instruments to
try! I own a set of B&H 1010s, and would not replace them even if
given the 'modern equivalent' for free.

Heck, what am I saying, if anyone out there offers me free
replacements, I would accept, of course;

- but I wouldn't get rid of the 1010s. :-)
