OK! I feel very qualified to answer these questions since we just
performed that same piece 2 months ago! More power to you! We did the
trill 2 different ways depending on our clarinets. Most played regular
B and the tremolo was to an overblown G (open). You can also do it by
playing regular B and using the 2 top trill keys if you can voice it.
What we did for the 16th passage that is so exposed between the second
and first principals was instead of using just a solo player for each
part, we used 2 players on a part, used regular fingerings, slurred it
and each played one measure alternating back and forth. It worked for
us and we are all in college as music majors! LOL Good luck!
