I agree with Dan Leeson. Unless there is something specific that you don't like
about your R-13's, there is no point in replacing them (unless you simply want
to). I play a Leblanc Symphonie II that is over 40 years old and am quite happy
with its sound and playing characteristics. However I want a new one simply
because I want one. Don't need it and can't justify it but it is my adult
"toy." When I do finally buy a different one, it will probably be the Opus if I
can manage to come up with the extra money. There are many passages that would
be a lot easier with the auxiliary Ab/Eb key. Again not really justifiable
except that it is what I want.
