I know I'D use the key. My old Buffet bass from high school had one, and
it was a Godsend. It made playing Von Weber's Concertino easier (during
the Piu Lento more comfortable, and some other pieces as well. And anyone
who's played the 2nd clarinet part on Four Scottish Dances (Jacobs?) knows
that an alternate key is perfect.

Well, anyways, _I'd_ use the key. ^_^
