He's a top notch teacher. Very hard to impress, and has put out many great
players into the field. Jon Manasse is one of them. I've never met a
student who didn't like him. Mark Jacobi (the Phila. Repairman) also
studied with Weber.

I have 5 concerts to play this weekend. (have pity...)

I wonder if any one on this list is or was a student of David Weber? I'm
interested in learning general impression of his reputation as a teacher
etc. Also, any suggestions for a new clarinet teacher at the Shepherd
School at Rice University. They're looking.
