The Blayman is useful if you practice and perform in only one
location. The thing weighs a ton. Better for portability, and
totally stable, is the K&M (Koenig & Meyer) foldable bassoon/
bass clarinet stand. You'll find it for $89 in all of the
main mail order catalogues.
