No flames from me. I agree with you. In addition, mastering the classical
embouchure is part of becoming an overall master of technique. A player with
this control can then choose to perform differently to get the effect he
wants. He can say with pride, "I chose this interpretation" rather than being
stuck with a certain way of playing because he has no choice.
