fervent SUPPORTER of transcriptions.

In fact, I just played one in a concert last night, on bass clarinet. It
was Lucien Caillet's transcription of the overture to Handel's "Messiah."
Right in the middle of the fugue section my register vent pad cup moved up,
but the pad remained firmly seated on the vent! Murphy lives!
