Hey all,
A friend wants to do a chamber music program for a Woodwind 5-tet
but since there will be a trumpet player hired to do some fanfares, she
also wants to see if he/she can be included in the program. My (very old)
catalogue only lists 5 pieces for that combination: Sutermeister -
Serenade #2, Serebrier - Erotica, Stewart - Divertimento, Schwertsik -
Proviant, and bereu - Sextet. I (and the Opus catalogue) have never heard
of any of the pieces (tho I like Sutermeister's stuff alot and I have
actually had the misfortune to both play under, and play the music of,
Serebrier).
Anyone have recordings of these pieces or recommendations of great
(please, no "I thought it was 'OK' selections") works for this
instrumentation? TIA
