Yes, Virginia! Vandoren are excellent in my opinion. Maybe it's just
my particular setup (B45 mouthpiece), but 3.5 Vandoren's seem to give me
consistantly good results.

I only noticed the recently, but I can get a tone out of almost every
reed in the box. They vary in quality, of course, but I can get 3 or 4
good ones, and 2 or 3 more that are useable if I really work at them.

I really haven't tried any other reeds though, and a lot of this
discussion really provokes my interest. I guess I've found something I
really like, and it works -- so I'm not too motivated to change. DO you
think this is a good attitude, or should I be brave and try new things?
