in resoponse: i'm sure that everyone has tried V12's if they don't already
use them. I have found the V12's to be rather inconsistant, i don't enjoy
finding 1 workable reed per box of 10! i'm in the process of finding
better reeds and that was where i located the rico grand concerts, which
are some of the best reeds i have come across so far, and your comment
toward using rico reeds during marchng season, those are the elementary
reeds that rico makes, and i do not enjoy the cut, actually come to think
of it, i haven't found any american cut reeds, other thatn the grand
concerts, that i enjoyed, i'm using the opera reeds now, and they are
french cut along with the vandoren reeds and i enjoy theses reeds,
although they require a little work. and i also enljoy the zonda reeds.
they also require a bit of work. so needless to say i am very interested
in finding out what happened to my new favorite reeds, the rico grand
concets, so anyone one with info on it i would greatly appreciate it.

thanks!
