I had the privilage of meeting David Maslanka at Stephen F. Austin SU,
Nacogdoches, TX. I guess it was about '94. He is a VERY interesting
and unique person. The lecture he gave at a concert was VERY motivating
indeed. I was amazed by his perspective on music and life in general.
This was at a time when I desperately needed someone to look up to. He
said a lot of things that I, as a yound musician needed to hear, and I
am very thankful for having been so lucky. I have since been inspired as
a musician and as a person by Maslanka.
