I have some of the "early" cd's - early 1980's, that do not sound as good
as the lp's. I have some pretty fine equipment, so I do not think there
is a bias there. However, the cd's I have purchased within the past 10
years are much better than any analog recording on LP......I even have
some classic rock that sounds better converted to CD than albums.....and
they are duplicates of the same analog masters.

Some of my 10", 2 Track recordings at 15 and 30 IPS sound better than some
of the CD's........but they are few......

Just a few thoughts....
